I used to fish this old pond that had a 15 lb Bass caught it a couple times and Let It Go somebody came down and caught it and they kept it one of the neighbors seen them take it that is ridiculous what a trophy that fish was going to be

Okay so I seen your follow-up video on this where the kid confess to catching the fish and Gil hooking it. And I'm going to tell you that if it was a trout that would probably killed it but a bass is a lot stronger fish my homeboy has one that he has in a tank in his house that he'd go hooked that literally has a piece of its gills hanging out of its plates and it's been alive for months doing just fine even eats out of his hand now still has the Gill hanging out of its flaps and he said it was bleeding like a stuck pig when he put it in his airatred bucket he on the kept it cuz he thought it was going to die it was still alive when he got home so he decided to put it in the tank and see how it did if you got turtles in your pond that's your problem if the fish swam away bleeding the turtles got it snuck up on it they could smell where he was promise bastards will. We have a pond at my house and I whent to go fish in my pound and I'm only 12 and these 20 year old guys came up to me and told m eto get our use my own pond and i come back a day latter and I chek the cameras to see them stealing my 12.2 pound bass

Don’t you have an alligator in the pond
It might be a bobcat, we lived in the middle of a big city and we had one hiding under a deck during a thunder storm, my husband looked out the back door to look at the storm and he saw the bobcat run out from under the deck , jump our fence and into the neighbors yard. I’ve even seen three mountain lions in my state which claims we don’t have mountain lions but we do. Maybe you need Private Property and No Trespassing signs to keep the fisherman out. Put up a trail camera to see who is getting into your pond. It could even be a couple of little boys fishing who just think it’s a pond with fish for them to catch. Of course you are upset you just had a pet die.
Never know how old it was before you got it might have been it's time and probably got picked up by some turtles
maybe Im just seeing things but man, theres an indent on the basses head that looks like it may have been clubbed, some fishermen are still fucking archaic like that unfortunately.

Its sad we do have heartless people who do not care about people who are trying to recreat what our Father gave us to enjoy it's sad but you might have to put camera around most the times if it was a prediter you are not going to see a hole dead fish
