Can you do a video on how to set drag for diffrent baits on a baitcaster?
I got in a school of busting stripers the other morning and the riser was the only effective bait I had. Amazing the size of fish you can land on a #8 treble hook and spinning outfit.
I'm just really getting back into fishing after about a decade without fishing at all. I've been out twice in the past couple of weeks. I got skunked one day, and caught a large mouth that was probably around a pound or less the second day out. I have been fishing top waters the most (Scum Frog Bigfoot, Whopper Ploppers, and Choppos), and I have not been able to get bites on any of them. I've also tried crank baits and chatter baits with no luck. The only thing that has worked so far was a Texas rigged brush hog. It seems like the fish around here are about done with top water baits. I may have to start going with a Texas Rig or punching rig more often.
Hey bro…So cal park pond cement sides 1-2' deep bass fishing. Past few months only dinks being caught. Deepest hole maybe 12ft. Lots of grass in the shallows. Should I toss a heavy carolina or heavy TX rig to try and reach the deep??????

The Jackall Riser/strike king Evader is one the best baits of all time for fall fishing especially for pressured lakes

I fish a pond that’s got a lot of vegetation and algae around the edges that form mats. Was fishing a frog over it yesterday and caught a few and then today when they wouldn’t touch the frog, switched over to a punch rig and immediately started catching them again
