Glenn, of course it helps. Very good info even do we supposed to know some of this, sometimes we forget crucial key topics. Changing the subject, one aspect I look a lot and there is not concrete and reliable information is regarding the drag adjustment on baitcasters, if is too loose you don't have a good hook set, and if is too tight you may brake the line or after a catch it get buried into the spool. I learn it the hard way that not releasing the drag after ending a fishing day damage this component on some of my baicasters ( expensive ones BTW ).
