Mikey Ballzz did this exact video yesterday and uses boss jigs too. Must be legit
Have many BOSS jigs and they rank very high on my preferred list. I also buy them out of my high regard for Gary Klein, one of the true ambassadors of bass-fishing, who is an all-around fine guy.
I once lost 2 jigs in 10 minutes😂
You should try Poppy Jigs from Manchester, TN. Great quality and made right down the road from my house!
Not as bad as punch weights. Over ten bucks for 1 sinker. Fishing used to ne cheap.
Great tip. Thank you for sharing this.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Just found these guy last weekend went nuts bought like 200 worth I have so many jigs not I don't know what to do with myself lol
Hey Tyler…thanks for all your content…I think I have caught one fish in my life on a jig. It looks cool, but for some reason, nothing. Don't know if my presentation is horrible, wrong color selection, wrong style jig…"D"…anyway…this video is a year old now, and I haven't seen any other videos where you mention Boss Jigs. Do you still use this 'system'? Just curious if you've picked up a sponsor or something…again, thanks and keep cranking (pun intended) the contents.
Here's a nifty trick to saving money on flipping jigs. Buy some Trashmaster jigs. You won't lose them. They're much more weedless and they skip more easily. I'm on only my second one in 2 years. Most of the skirt is missing now and they're not rubber band bound. But it's still catching.
I started buying boss and other like companies’ naked jig heads after I lost 4 $4-$5 jigs in one day. Now i order a flip head, swim head, and the finesse flip head in black and green pumpkin. This gets me 24 jig heads and then I order the two skirt colors that I know work along with a new color to try. This year I’m gonna try a junebug color skirt.
Love the jigs been doing this for years and make my own skirts so I can have what I want every time
Found your page this evening and haven’t been able to stop watching. Great suggestions on jigs! Do you have a video or plan to make one on trimming the skirts or weed guards?
You forgot to add in the 5/7 dollars for shipping for the jigs and then again for the skirts. This drives the cost of considerably.
I love BOSS jigs! I put in a bulk order with them every year. I save money and get the exact color, head and hook styles I want. They are hands down the best value for jig fishermen.
I fish mostly BOSS wood walker and rock walker jigs and i've caught fish up to 5lbs on them without any problems. Good jigs
I love fishing a jig here in Missouri,it’s a great lure to catch good bass
Thanks for sharing. I bought some tackle on your TW link last week.
Can you do a video on what color to use and when
Gonna try it out this year ive used worms all my life so this should be interesting
Just found your site. Awesome stuff. I am into jigs and frog fishing. Great info with what I have seen so far; can't wait to see more of your videos.
Very good quality. I buy mine directly from fishingskirts.com also.
Great idea thanks for sharing. If you're not losing jigs you're not trying hard enough. LOL.
Which specific Boss jig model are you using for skipping?
I started doing this a couple years ago. I get unpainted jig heads and skirt material so I can mix and match colors. Such a money saver and you get a jig exactly how you like
I use fishingskirts.com. I buy my skirt materials from them. I've used some of the BOSS jig's. I started pouring my own jig's. It's the cheapest way to go by far. Start up cost. Well you buy once you cry once. Lol. A jig mold cost anywhere from $30-50. I have a son that fish's on his High School Fishing Team. I'll sell some custom jig's to his friends at such a low price. It helps them out and helps me on cost of supplies. When I sit down to pour jig's. I will pour 200 plus at a time. I enjoy it. I powder coat my jig's. When I buy powder paint I buy it by the pound. I can buy powder paints as low as $10 a pound and as as high as $30+ a pound.
Making your own jig's is the way to go. Each jig is fully custom. Tight lines.
This is a great video with incredibly impressive advice on how to save money purchasing bass jigs! I have just like this video, subscribed to your channel and I will be sharing this video.
Thanks for the info, nice video👍🏼
For me it says they are 7 bucks for one. Am I doing something wrong. Cause I know I’m at the right site?
Absolutely love BOSS Jigs! I have been using them for awhile now.
I do this exact thing
Thanks for you time and information,. Many blessings to you and your career.
Been doing this for a while as well. It's the way to go for sure! Great video!
I jig fish A LOT too! I make my own. Takes longer but I enjoy it. I can make a jig for around 90 cents.
