Some of the Sand Bass are out of the creeks and are back in the lakes. Catching them can be challenging, since you are limited by several factors.
If you are on the bank
1 Can you cast to them?
2 What lure to use?
3 How many can you catch? Since they are just passing.
If you are in a boat or kayak….
1 Find the right lure
2 Stay with them
Just a reminder……
Watch your size and limits. A fine from the Wild Life Department isn’t cheep, and isn’t worth it.
$$$$$ You would be better off going to the fish market $$$$$
Hey, Gene! This is Chris Edwards and my son Matteo and I met you couple of weeks ago when we were launching our kayaks at Twin Coves for the first time. We really appreciate the tips you gave us and love your videos (they are invaluable). I have a question. You had mentioned you have a rod holder next to your seat on your kayaks, so there is less reaching to grab your rod. Our kayaks don’t have a geartrac there (they’re toward the front) but I’m thinking about buying a couple to screw in (yak attack brand). What length geartrac would you recommend? You might remember we had those 10 1/2 foot pescador pros.
Great video Mr Garza I believe that’s on Scott’s marina
Is that the marina by Katie woods
