great tips a as always bro. love the content!!!
Another awesome video!!! Thanks for those great tips!!! I always heard about fishing the rocks because of them holding heat but the wood make more sense of keeping warmer for a longer period of time. I will remember these tips for sure!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!

None of it works for me. Wish it did, but fish don't bite for me. "If you're catching fish on…". Yeah, I'm never catching fish. I'm never getting a single bite even, month after month.
Wood is not such a good thermal conductor so im not quite sure bass are on wood due to the heat its giving off.
I fish exclusively Central Michigan lakes haven't put the boat in yet but soon I hope and I will try some of your tips. !!!!
Hey ben by no means am I a pro fisherman but I've noticed over the yrs in different states I've lived that these bass gravite to any type of wood. Thanks for the video and God bless.
Thanx Ben. Good video, and I would rather fish laydowns over any style bass fishing with docks a close second. This time of year, they seem to lay right on the wood.
just got on a good wood bite throwin a texas rigged senko 3/16 pegged weight.
Thanks Benjamin. I just experienced this pattern yesterday. Mine however was in extremely clear water on steep banks with small bluffs. Had to fish a slow fall 1/4 oz.
One piece of wood cover you didn’t mention is permanent docks with wooden posts. They can be key when fishing bays and lakes that are void of much laydowns or stumps.
There is a reason for wood attraction that I read years ago. Didn’t know it was a secret. Haha
Hey Ben, do you have any tips with timing for traverse city smallmouth? It’s about a hour drive from me and I need some guidance on what time I should go. No need to give me specific spots or lakes if you don’t want to, but if you could maybe just give me some basic pointers that would be rlly great. I really appreciate your channel. Thank u!
So very happy I found your channel. It’s great stuff. Thank you. A pattern I follow this time of year is fishing all of the wood leading into the spawning pockets. That was a major pattern for me last year and what I plan to use this year.
You’re going to give me the confidence to start throwing a jig again!!
I do like throwing around Wood sometimes I think it just comes down to basic science, especially if the wood is sticking out of the water thank you for the breakdown. Keep them coming and I love to use a jig for that.
