I returned to my old “home lake” 2 years after moving from St. Cloud, MN. A juvenile loon was very curious about what I was doing. It was probably the closest and longest encounter I’ve had with any loon. I caught a few bass but spent a lot of time with the loon, then chatting with a kayak angler I met on the lake. Any day you catch a mid-3’s bass is still a fun day, so I won’t complain!
