  1. I was pissed when academy gave me the wrong gear ratio when I bought my reel. But a 6.8:1 isn't so that bad after all. Going to try this tomorrow. 🤙🏾💯💯💯

  2. i'm a swimjig master and like vids like this. likewise, i use various setups per time of year and body of water. completely agree with the 4 ply braided line approach. take your pick but sunline sx1 saws through lily pads really well. i believe swimjigging is a technique for covering water quick, making a lot of accurate casts so i'm usually on a 6'10-7' rod. if i'm on braid i'm running a medium rod…fluoro a medium heavy. i rarely throw a 3/8oz…usually qtr to 5/16…most of the time floating it. but yeah, swim jig fishing is slept on with many.

  3. I normally limit my jig fishing to other than heavy cover and I may have been overlooking some really good areas where bass live. I'm going to give your suggestions a try soon. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I've been waiting on this video, that jig looked great, I like dirty jigs for the most part for swimming, I've got several freedom tackle ones also, I would like to see a jerk bait setup because that's going to be the player for the most part coming up to throw! Again great turn around year for you, hope Adrian is doing good, he hasn't made a video in awhile!👍🎣
