Ohio kayak fishing for bass at Kiser lake

I fished Kiser lake in the BKFT, Buckeye Kayak Fishing Trail, in Ohio. This is my last tournament of the year and it’s our trail championship. I’m fishing from my Hobie kayak trying to get a 5 fish limit. I recently did great with smallmouth in the creeks, but we,re back to the lake. I always learn so much when fishing, this trip confirmed why I set the net up when I’m taking tournament photos. I had a scary moment when a fish wasn’t looking too good, please let me know if I could’ve done anything differently. This video was made after an 8 hour day of fishing, I had 10 hrs of footage to sort through, then edited down to 60 minutes and eventually 7 minutes. #crosskix #hobiekayaks #kayak #kayakfishing #insta360onex2

  1. Awesome job!
Kisier Lake is a hit or miss lake. I usually do decent there on swimbait and black/white cranks. I try to fish the middle of the main channel of the lake for Hybrids.
I want to try the beach side for LM next outing.

  2. Great video! Great edit! Great tips! I must be getting old though because I struggle with that music. On the bright side, it makes me really appreciate the moments when you do your commentary. 😅
