I'm just learning of the potential of livescope. I've never tried targeting open water fish or fish that aren't on brush or stumps. I am now though! I've been using a big jig to target fish on brush and stumps.
Keep up the good work Jake! I've been watching you for several years now. We fish in some of the same lakes. Thanks for the tips and great videos.

Another thing I think livescope is so key for is spybaits. Spybaits are something you trace the bottom with and you don’t have to count it down with livescope and you can change with the contours on the fly by watching it on the screen. The day I got livescope I saw some bass on the screen, casted past them, let it sink to their level, and reeled it slow, through the school and I doubled up with two 3 pounders. I knew right then livescope was going to be the biggest upgrade for me. I’ve had it a few weeks and I catch fish with it every time.
5-9 inch flutter spoons are deadly. Really
Like them around brush or docks

I just started glide bait fishing up here in MA and NH. I got two 3 pounder on it today in the heat and lost a couple. Had multiple big followers. I love the glide bait! It’s my new favorite. And I’m an offshore smallmouth guy who usually drop shots in 25-50 feet. But the glide is a blast.
I picked up some glides the other day and practiced the different actions in my swimming pool. Do you tie directly to the split ring? I was thinking about using a stainless ball bearing swivel clip. Also how heavy of line are you throwing the big glides on?
