I can't imagine letting my kid stand at the edge of a boat, holding on to an alligator with a string, and all it takes is the gator to rush away and pull her in before she realizes what's going on.

When she said "I got a gator!" I thought she was making a joke at how big the fish was that she just caught… Nope! She meant… she got a gator!!

This is very scary. Won't be able to do this with my kids. One wrong move and they can fall in the water… and if anything bad happens next I will have to live with that for the rest of my life
It does seem that young ladies mature 5 to 7 years a head of boys the same age…..can you say 99.8% Deet ?
I was pre fishing the mega tournament 1985 in palatka with Harvey Bozeman.He finished 7th..we were west side of lake George.I'm throwing a mocasin culprit.I snagged a gator …it took me at least 20 minutes.its tail came up first.behind the back legs its tail was 3.5 to 4 feet wide…in 1989 the first year gators were hunted legal I saw a 650 pounder and a 750 pounder at the check station at Seville…this gator I caught was bigger at the tail than the gators at the check station…if your related to Rowland he was at the tournament in palatka…it was the tournament that Hank Parker got famous

A bit nervous seeing the girls so close to the gator and you too Scott, but watching the young ladies is just delightful. A real love for the outdoors and fishing and no cell phones, great kids and good dad.
