I just got done with the Bassmaster Open and had my worst finish of the year in any tournament. This year my worst finish was a 26th so I’ve had a good year but this tournament I didn’t get much practice and went off history and it burnt me. Now I get to go out and really practice so I’m super excited.

I’ve fished my whole life. I appreciate you view on how to breakdown water and your strategies. I don’t get my joy from watching other people catch fish but if I can learn how you and others do it I can add it to my experiences and improve. If all you want to see is fish catches there’s plenty of channels out there that do that. Stay original and do it your way.
As a fellow Texan, I feel like Todd is my spirit animal. I would love to spend half a day just talking to Todd about fishing and enjoy some beers while wearing a backwards hat and our Ask Me About My Ninja Disguise shirts.

Funny you talk about not getting in anyone’s way. I remember sending you a message on Facebook last year when you were at guntersville and it was y’all’s last day. I was pretty sure I knew where you were fishing but I wasn’t positive. None the less we never went to those stretch of boat docks, I told my partner that you could possibly win and I believed I knew at least the general area of where you were and that we wasn’t going over there. Like you said I’m not going to do something that I wouldn’t want someone else to do.
Keep doing your videos the way you are. I like to use them in my time on the water chasing red fish. You take to the level. Always thinking about it in a different way. Thanks Todd

The way you think about things is what has helped me the most! I could careless about seeing you catch them because like you said we fish the same places. Its how you think through the process and make decisions that counts.

I watch a good bit of YouTube bassin channels and your channel is the best. BTW I loved the swimjig videos you did a while back.
You touched on something that has totally shaped my mind. We went to Chickamauga not to long ago and they were having an open we had two bad experiences that day with wrapped boats. One pulled up behind us on a small ledge and said we should leave. Another tried to wave us off from from a bank we were at idle towards that he was also but wasn’t even going to. Us weekend anglers are the only reason they have them opportunities and have every right to be out there fishing. We will give them the same respect as everyone else on the water. We certainly aren’t going to waste the once a week fishing trip on watching them or pulling in on there spots.

I watch more of your content than any other fishing videos. I think that the thought process behind what you are doing is much more insightful than just fish catches. Sad to see you didn't do well in the Open, but I am sure you will adjust and get in the money in the Toyota Series on Lake of the Ozarks.
