Lake Fork Fishing Report June 17th, 2023
It’s Hot! Heat index over 105 degrees. We just had 2 days of thunderstorms so we were fishing the first day after.
Morning bite was good on main lake points with frogs, then the bite shut down for most of the day! Tough fishing conditions. We looked off shore for several hours and tried learning new water with no luck. In the evening we went back to one of our favorite coves and the bass turned on after 7pm. Shallow bite was good on white chatterbaits and white spinnerbaits. Beat the heat and fish later or early if you like fishing shallow.
