I had that same issue on the rod snap with a small striper like 24". I feel like the graphite must of been nicked from going under trees or something.

Awesome I was just asking Manny B about his swimbait set ups, I always see you guys catching hawgs on these baits. Eventually I'm going to buy a swimbait rod and reel and try either the sinking buca shad or the Matt lures. Bad ass video dude.

That sucks!.. I’ve broke a couple of swimbait rods. I ended up getting a st croix bass x heavy it’s been super good to me. Can’t beat it for 99.99… Love the video, can’t wait to do some river fishing on my yak
Well that sucks! At least it broke on a fish and not a log. Still have not got Roman made anything. Every time I think i’m gonna buy one i find five other baits for the same price.
