  1. Been using ot for about 6 months now. Gets tons of bites but im struggling with hookup ratio . Hook point goes back into bait on hooksets. Hard not to throw though the way they bite it

  2. I specifically bought these to try on the hover rig, but have found the action to be lacking. I may have to experiement with a treble hook and vertical setup, the horizontal action just didn't seem to be enough in VA waters

  3. I use Thunderhawk Grenade in the smaller size and it is fantastic for river smallies. Idk about the Bellow, but the Grenade is made of elastomer so it's extremely tough. The smaller sizes are much better imo, not nearly as much interference as you pointed out.

  4. i wanted more variety when it comes to color, so I bought all three sizes of the mold. It's a pretty expensive when you buy them at a tackle shop. I love triple injecting that bait. I make "Darren's magic" I use it in both freshwater here in California and for bass off of Catalina Island. Awesome bait!

  5. I had one good day fishing the 5inch size. Was throwing white . Got a bunch of big Perch, a big ugly pickerel & my only 2 Bass over 3lbs this year. Haven't even got a bite on the bluegill color in the 3.8 inch though & I've went through 3 packs easy

  6. The larger ones are killer during the prespawn and definitely if you bed fish. I mean come on a bass will see a large bluegill tying to eat it's fry. And she will destroy that thing. Hookups are the issue I'm having.

  7. I just went out and smoked them on this I was using the smaller size pitching it into the base of the reeds. Only complaint is they rip very easily out of the whole pack I had 1 that lasted 3 fish

  8. This is late as you can see. ✝️Condolences✝️
Have you thought about putting the baits in a water demonstration so there action can be seen?

  9. Swims like a big leech and smells like Beer Nuts – what's not to love? I started throwing these when they first came out and were only available in Japan after I saw them in a video. Loved the idea of the bait and I've done well with them. Kind of sad they won't be under the radar much longer but I guess that was inevitable.

  10. I really think you are on to something concerning that lure. I did a short on the original GrandeBass Rattlesnake, it seems to always have some magic attraction property. The ring style plastics always produce, check out the Reins Bubbling Shaker too!!!

  11. Hey randy! You mentioned it looks like a sea creature and it kinda does at first glance, but after some serious thought I figure this thing could be insanely effective at representing a bluegill or perch!

  12. I use this for ground fishing on a tsunami gumball jig in saltwater. Kills it for black sea bass, fluke/flounder(kind of think it looks like a juvenile fluke)stripers, sea robin, etc. smells like dirty old fritos!

  13. I have some, havent catch any fish with them, yet.
All I can say so far is that this bait have an awful casting, they are large, flappy, they get soaked with water what makes it even heavier to cast if you don't shake it a little before casting again
I personaly didnt liked it that much
