Brother the only way that, you not loose the fish is live the point of you fishing rod down near to the water. See if this help you. Same with snooks, trout etc..
Fishing gloves would help your hands a LOT.
Would you kiss your Mom with that mouth! lol
Fun video. I killed it on that lake a few years back. It is definitely one of my favorites! The colors around the lake in the fall are amazing!
What jig were those
Che posto stupendo
awesome video dude! If you keep fishing this lake it might be a good idea to get a stiffer rod for a better hook set.
…Also, you know why you're losing so many on the jig after hooking? It's because your rod is too flimsy. You need a faster action rod, with slightly more power too. Your rod shouldn't be doubled over on an 18" trout. I just returned a 7' "lake" rod because it didn't have enough power to double as a fast moving river rod and I was losing fish. This isn't fly fishing with a 20' rod that bends back to the belt buckle with an 8" fish. The larger hook and barb on that jig need power to penetrate. Also, if you're losing fish still, then the hook is too small. I finally settled on size 4 V hooks (I make) on my spoons, or size 2 single hooks for the same spoons. Fish never come off.
Thank God! Back to REAL fishing. BTW taking the belly treble off of your Rapala is going to cause you to miss a bunch of fish. Often times fish attack by T-boning their prey to incapacitate them, then reposition to swallow head first (larger prey).
Man this place looks awesome. I'm a bit jealous
get your gmail and day 8 asking for a fishing trip
Under Lucky Peak in Boise 21.5" Kokanee Salmon on a blue silver orange Rapala bro
Is this Fish lake??
Congrats on your lakers. Those browns were pretty cool.
Stiff fast rod, braid to leader, bigger single hooks, and tight drag at hook set then back off, all things I’ve changed to increase hookups at now i went from loosing half my fish to now only about 15%. Probably the biggest change is the the drag and hook size, cause you can always set the hook harder
nice videos recently with the spinning road ! i like that ! i did subscribe again !
That rod tip looks way to soft. Heavier jig in deep water, should have a medium action with a fast tip. Medium/fast action.
You need a stiffer backbone rod to set the hook. Lighter rods won't penetrate the harder mouth fish. Love the videos. I lost some huge cutties in Yellowstone because I had to light a rod. I feel the pain.😢
🤣🤣🤣🤣Great Start😅!!!
whats wrong with rainbows assw–e
What state/province r u?
