In this video, I show a ton of misses and a few victories with swimbaits!
This is some hard footage to watch, but also so much fun to see these giants strike right at the bank!
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
4100 fishermen have signed up.
Get your rod tip up from the water line create more leverage on those really close up bites your missing!
Nice LG mouth!
Clearly some of your bass have hired stunt doubles.
Love ya bud, but the cement pond bass are getting old
James almost hooked a flounder at 8:25!! Ty, you're lucky you didn't get hooked in the eye!! I was like, "OH SH*T!!". "Well, ya got that on video!!" LOL!! Dig, DmGrk
Good video as usual what swimbait were you throwing
Dude
My hat is off to u
For taking time to pull that trash out of the water, more people needs to take note of it
Ah yes once again ty exaggerates the size of the fish tremendously in the thumbnail and dramatizes every title."ive been chasing this fish for years" "youll never guess what was caught in this caulvert " cant ever just be "monster tish caught. And the way you talk to other ppl in your videos sometimes really makes me dislike you. Bout done watching your videos been years and you still wont even tell us the coordinates of favorite fishing hole.
Try a little softer rod with monofilament… Put two metal o-rings on the bait, it offers a little more rotation. Or you can tie the hooks on with braid, which allows the hook to rotate even more. Invest in a diamond dust hook sharpener, which has been my game changer over the last decade, and the fusion 19 treble hooks to replace the stock ones. One trick you can do to find out if your hooks are sharp enough… Drag them over your thumbnail at about a 30° angle and if they bite in immediately then they're sharp enough… If not… Sharpen them until they do
! We love your shows Ty, and we're always pulling for you to win the fight

!!!
Fish just toy with your emotions!
Swap out those hooks to ST-36 owners
Stop setting the hook like that.
Greta work Bro keep crushin’ it!
Just go at night with 9” MS Slammer. Slowly reel on surface. You will slay.
Long-time subscriber here Tyler. My only comment is thanks for bringing us along and keep up the good work. You're the best fishing channel on YouTube
Nothing wrong with a little combat fishing!!! It can make it fun or not so much fun.
The fish in the slo mo is not 11 pounds lmao maybe 3-4 tops
Maybe you should forgo the 6-7" swim bait that they seem to have a problem swallowing and go with the tried and true whacky worm.
Aww man you take it hard like I do, i can hear the emotion in your voice as you narrate this one. Posting the Ls too is what I've read some people want. Ty listens. And he even had to edit in him picking up the trash. But I can understand doing it after you fish the spot, as not to sketch a big momma off cover.
Giants bro!!
I like gliders but I’m addicted to soft swimbaits. Right now the 4” Rapala mayor on a 6/0 1/4oz hayabusa 958 swimbait hook is the best bait in my boat for 1-6’ of water. Just sayin, cast it around.
Maybe try standing farther away from the water. That way there’s more room to set the hook and it’s not so close to the tip of the rod
Shit this made me feel better lost a 4-5pounder today threw the lipless right on top of him in the middle of the pond & he hit it right away reeled it in as fast as I could & 10 ft from the bank he jumped out & spit out the hook
Casting for clicks, baby. You’re a hard working man!
Painful video, Brother. Lol and they say that fishin is blissful.
Doesn't even look like you are trying to set the hook
For someone who is just starting to use swim baits, what are some good budget ones?
Stay a little farther away from the bank you should get her
0 so I stopped at 3:41 and I thought to myself did you not go through years of this did you not trained for this moment you let the fish take it then you pull back the rod you didn't even give the chance forward to sniff The lure it was almost as if you already cooked the fish before you ever saw it
Ty what line are you using and what action is your rod ? As a fellow swimbait nerd, I want to give some friendly tips. 25-30 lb Mono paired with a moderate fast action tip swimbait rod is the bees knees for treble hook swimbaits. Whenever those bass hit it close range like that the stretch in the mono and that slightly bendier tip action gives it enough play for them to dig that hook deeper instead of shaking it off. Hope you see this and give it a try !
Just because you have a hundred pound spider wire don't mean that you could just hog them in a fresh fish you pull it every time
Shut your drag a little bit looser and you'll quit pulling the hook
That is painful to watch. They make a nylon “ring” to replace the traditional rings for big swimbaits. I’ve even seen guys tie their hooks to there big baits using like 120lb braid. They say it keeps them from getting leverage. I’m not sure who sales the nylon rings though. If find out let us know.
