Sam Rayburn always throws curveballs, and having the right bait at the right time is EVERYTHING. Crazy how some of the most overlooked baits end up being tournament winners! Just broke down how this week’s weather patterns impacted Rayburn and other lakes over on BPC—wild conditions this year!
I just took out the new eagle eye 9 on my boat and noticed past 30 foot out from the boat the screen started to look pretty fuzzy but anything within 30 ft range was pretty clear. Do you have any suggestions to fix this?
I live and fish on a river. I think these baits are a great idea, but I dont think I would get a lot of bites on these type baits.
Thank you. Good information !
Nice Copy Berkeley fishing, it still swims like crap
Pretty tough conditions here in NWA right now, but i think spring will come soon.
Fantastic video, Jonny!! Great tips with thorough explanations! Keep up the great work!
Actually have these baits at home. But I never knew that you could tighten the gap on the eco glide. Good stuff Johnny! Going to your TW affiliate page now
Those look like they should be good for the saltwater.
Excellent stuff! Looking forward to the comparison of the soft vs hard glides. Feel like soft will get more bites, but I like the free hanging hooks on the hard glides to hook the fish that just swipe at the bait.
I have never wrapped a hook for extra weight. It may be a no-brainer and all I have to do is sit down and get it done. But I really wouldn’t mind watching you wrap a hook just to see if there’s any little trick to it.
We have a warm week ahead after this so I have kept my sanity looking ahead. Excellent video again.
As always, thanks for the video.
Really appreciate you calling out the Berkley Nessie being a knock-off of the Grow Design. @geoffreythekingfishing on YT has a good comparison video of the soft glides including the Grow Design and Nessie.
I feel your pain ..I'm mid Missouri and our small lake had just thawed out and now are frozen up again, now i have to wait for them to thaw out again..sigh. Good video as always!
Strongly resembles the old Lil Fishee lures from the 80's. Just bigger.
Wayyyy to complicated for me…
