My Profile:
http://www.mattstefanfishing.com/
I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I’ve been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I’ve qualified for six MLF Championships and won roughly a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.
Great info
Oh man….I wish I would have seen this video a year ago! More simple practical advice!
I like the trailer hook idea. Going to try on other soft plastics as well
How to get it or win it give way
What color are those swim baits? I like that orange burst under the chin, that tip of splitting the belly for the hook is great
Thanks for making all the videos
This is very cool.
Awsome tips, much appreciated!
Great vid love your content and this really helped
Very cool tip for that trailer hook. In a future video can you show a bit more details on that braid 2 inch line tie
Great tips as always! Do you also rig grass pigs with the screw lock in the chin instead of the nose? Please keep those tips coming!
Great tips Matt , I will try some of these. I fish paddle tails, would it work on those as well?
Could you make a video of just the chickens??
Thanks for the great tips, they have definitely helped me on the water. Also, awesome job on the St. Lawrence! My question is, what size hooks do you use for different sized swim baits? I want to start fishing HB swim baits want to get the right stuff at the start
Totally awesome. Not enough guys talking about bellly-weighted swims. One of my all-time favorites. I can pull it thru anything. These tips take it to the next level. Thank you.
I had never noticed the chin hook. I will definitely be doing that from now on. Come on 10k! I remember when your channel was just under 2k. Good tips as always!
Good tips for the hollow belly swimbaits. Those upcoming giveaways sound great and I could use any of them.
Matt, I've got a question for you. Since you make your own rods, you seemed the best guy to ask.
I have a Dobyns "Fury" casting rod, 7ft., med. hvy, moderate fast action. It says to use 8-17 lb test line. Can I use heavier test line on this rod? It's my crankbaits rod so I like to use braid-to-leader. Will using heavier line damage the rod? Does it really matter?
So many of the guys I watch on YouTube promote using heavier line, I thought I would ask your opinion. BTW, I really like your videos! Your info is straightforward & on the mark! Hope you make that 10,000 mark real soon. Your channel deserves a lot more attention! Congrats on you St. Lawrence river finish!!
Another great video Matt! Thanks for the great tips as always.
Great customization Matt
