Very nice video, I dont have live scope myself but I enjoy data like this.
My catch rate has went up significantly. Part of that is I've always been slow to move on from a spot. Now after a couple of casts and not seeing anything, I move on. The downside it's made me more one dimensional. I have 2 strolling baits on the front deck always and about 95% of the fish I've caught in the last 3 months have come on those baits. Of course I've only had Livescope that long so we'll see if the averages get closer after a full year. But to be clear, I've had a lot of fun fishing these last 3 months with it. My understanding of how things are going under the water now is leaps and bounds what I ever thought it could be. Also I PB'd twice in Novemeber because of the scope. I think the biggest thing people have againist is that they can't or won't justify the price of having it.
FFS puts the fish at an unfair advantage.
Love scoping but it doesn’t win tournaments here, which I love. Catch ‘em how you want and enjoy it. It has made me a better angler locating fish for sure.
1) super interesting content. I don’t think anyone has done this that I’ve seen. 2) are you using livescope to see if there are fish in the area even if you’re not actively targeting specific fish? 3) are you using any tools to keep your data or just a spreadsheet?
Unfortunately it has raised the average fisherman catching their limits of forage species as well as increasing bass catches. It's led to states changing bag limits recently due to species' impact.love it or hate it the smaller species are being impacted and reducing food supplies for apex predators.
This was a great concept for a video, Hella! I enjoyed the look back on the numbers.
I think we need to remember that while pro level tournament fishing is dominated largely by live scope the average working guy who fishes once a week and mayne a few vacation days fishes largely the way we always have.wven if rhey have livescope do they have enough time to really put into it and learn to catch those roaming pelagic fish?

How do you feel about the elites having a pro that's been arrested for tourney fraud fishing ? Really surprised bass didn't throw him out. The sport is in a huge decline
to me its made fishing more fun and how much you learn about bass behavior. looks like you keep a fishing log – would be good video to go over how and what you track. started keeping one in google sheets this year and it will definitely help this coming year
I would love to use FFS at St. Clair on my boat😂 but always take my brother boat he doesn’t have it. But have a lot of years fishing up there. Use the FFS in your head 😂😂 I will never fish without it personally, and will upgrade second something new comes out 💯💯
I can say that my catch numbers have went way up , there's been a few because seen them on scope, but I look more at things like is there bait grass cover standing tember, what are fish doing vs looking for the actual fish I'm trying to catch. I do owe alot of success to live scope in breaking down what and were I need to be fishing
Thanks for your breakdown of baits and how FFS played a factor. I think I need to start doing a record of bass caught and do a break down of this as well.
