Haiko Lake North Carolina Bass Fishing Breakdown | Google Earth and Offshore Contours

What’s up tubers. Tio here with Simplistic Fishing. In this video we break down Haiko Lake in North Carolina, one of the most talked about warm water power plant lakes in the state and widely considered the best bass fishing lake in North Carolina.

Haiko Lake is a 3,750 acre lake with over 120 to 160 miles of shoreline, clear to moderately clear water, and an annual fishing permit requirement. Using Google Earth satellite imagery and the Simplistic Fishing mobile app with contours, we break this lake down step by step to help you fish it more efficiently.

In this video we cover fish attractors, creek channels, ditches, drains, hard spots, laydowns, foundations, ramps and slabs, rock, vegetation, and offshore structure. We also take a deep dive into offshore humps, points, ledges, flat tops, channel swings, ridges, pinch points, and bridge areas using contour mapping.

This breakdown is designed to help you understand why certain areas hold fish, how to pattern similar structure, and how to approach this lake whether it is your first time fishing it or you are looking to improve your results offshore.

All Haiko Lake waypoints are available at simplisticfishing.com as digital downloads, SD cards for your graphs, or through the Simplistic Fishing mobile app on iOS and Android.
