Headwaters lake is alive and well, especially when you fish shiners! Today we really blast them! Let me show you how I do it!

  1. Can't imagine what it's like living in Florida. Catching five pounders there is just another day. Here in CT it's a good day when you catch a couple 2.5-3 pounders . Catching 4-5lb fish only happens maybe a couple days out of the season. Granted I only fish one day per week due to work but still. I only caught 4 4 pounders this season going out on my boat once per week. No 5's. Last season caugh a 5.2 but none that big since. And I go to many lakes within an hour of where I live which is most lakes. 4-5 pounders or larger aren't easy to come by here.

  2. Roland you make dreams come true even if we don't get to get on board personally. Somehow 111 year's ago Vancouver Island BC was stocked with Smallmouth from Ontario. Growing up we learned from you. Now if I don't catch a 5lb. Bass every year my goal for the year is incomplete. Haven't missed yet. I troll for rainbow trout but will get a Bass as they are much like trout. I have a mental attitude to catch big one's and it works. I've figured what trout want and catch them up to 10lbs.at the local sticker lake
