Hi. There are no cottonmouths anywhere near Jefferson county Tennessee…..regardless of what anyone tells you. It is way out of their range.
Those are called beaver "lodges". Dams actually dam the water like a ….dam does. Lodges are dens for them to hang out and live in.

I'm a saltwater kayak fisherman. DId my first freshwater mission on a local conservatory lake. tons of fish on the finder, couldn't catch a damn thing. LOL, its like starting over from scratch.
I fish cranks with a spinning rod all the time ..night fishing walleyes in shallow.

Hi Kristine, I hear small mouth are fun to catch and they’re great fighters. There are no places around me that hold smallmouth so I may have to travel.
I think if a snake got in my boat with me he could have it.
