Exploring a Tackle Shop in Portugal… Here’s What I Got!

While on holiday in Portugal, I had to stop by one of my favourite local tackle shops. It’s packed with everything from top-tier lures to premium reels — some costing over 1000€! In this video, I take you along for a quick tour, show what caught my eye, and reveal what I ended up buying.

Some of the lures featured already put in work on the water — if you’ve seen the last video, you’ll know what I mean. Stick around until the end, where I also show you some of the sea fishing gear I’ve got back home in the UK.

🎣 Let me know in the comments: what’s one lure you can’t resist buying when you visit a tackle shop?

  1. 8:38 – I spent 4 months away in Hong Kong this year and I picked up the same exact Yo-Zuri lure you have in your hand here with a few other ones! The tackle shop i bought it from had some crazy discount going on and I bought 6 Yo-Zuri lures in various sizes/weights for something like £3-4 each! Absolutely insane price!! I checked some of the prices on amazon and these lures cost anywhere between £8-25

    Ive had a few opportunities to go out and try catch some pike with it since coming home but either something else came up that stopped me going or I just lacked the motivation to go 🤣🤣

    I was looking for lures with a bigger profile for more wobble but the one in your hand is the biggest my shop had as they only catered towards sea fishing. Ive got some other minnow style yo-zuri cranks for the pike and perch as well. I'll get around to testing them all eventually!

    Let us know how well that one does!

    ::EDIT::

    9:51 – I also have something similar to this! Check out the Yo-Zuri F980-HGM. (Its also known as the R1410-HGM – similar lure but suspending instead of sinking like the F980) – Its an really good Mackerel imitation lure!
