This easy bass fishing rig consists of a plastic crawfish with one or both claws torn off. It should be quite obvious if this rig is copied and presented as unique. No one else is fishing clawless craws right know, so you know its a Realistic Fishing setup. I catch three bass today back to back to back, all on a craw missing its claws. I read a study a couple a weeks ago in in-fisherman’s July 2023 magazine where it says bass are more likely to hit a craw without the claws, it gave a bunch of different scenarios for crawfish like without the claws, completely intact, head missing, etc. it is in line with what you are doing. Very cool!

I've had some success in plucking one pincher off a craw pattern plastic. I think a "healthy" craw can occasionally look scary to a bass. But, if he's wounded, that's another story!
