  1. Hank, here in Northern Alabama on the Tennessee River the Dimiki rig is number one, period. I have very little success with the hard crank bait here, but that might be me. The spoons and Dimiki are killer here in the winter. Just my observation. Good advice from you, my friend, but again, I'm not fishing a highlands lake. Thanks again for all the excellent tips.

  2. 10" top hook hudd , hawg hunter or savage gear trout is my go to this time of year for big softy's but I'll pick up kgb legend, clutch boss or many other 9+" WIIIIDE glides before I will ANYTHING else rn.. fish em slow and wide and they will get smashed

  3. Idk if it’s my style because I have a tendency to just kind of finesse fish or if it’s because I live on mostly spotted bass fisheries but is west I catch the most fish during the winter months?! I’m in Northern California and I don’t even large mouth fish in the delta when it’s cold I just go to all the highland reservoirs and catch the spots

  4. Seen you the other day again, we had 22lbs and change. Dropping but a bait nobody is using. Hope you done well, I'm just not into throwing crankbaits on soho, never had much luck with it. I save those for Douglas and Watauga.
