I spent a few days chasing some big brown Smallmouth Bass around some shallow grass on Rainbow Flowage in northern Wisconsin. I had a lot of fun being able to put the spinning gear down and power fishing for these bass. After having to get off the water because of a storm one day, I return with a plan to land some bigger Smallmouth Bass. That plan was to cover water, power fishing and that plan worked. 6th sense hybrid swim jig, jackhammer chatter bait, and vega frog were the baits I caught bass on. Honorable mention to the Megabass Magdraft, I should have picked it up sooner.
