Which gear ratio do you use on the tranx 300?
Which gear ratio do you use on the tranx 300?
Great video! Matt, your teachings is fueling my addiction to tackle. I thank you for that!
Thanks for your very instructive video. Do you think the Dobyns 806 SB Champion will handle the baitsanity explorer correctly? I only have access to Dobyns products in my country and storage is an issue for me so the reknown 867 is not an option. I am concerned about castability. I understand from your previous video that the 807 is mostly a jig hook rod but maybe castability would be improved for a 5-6 Oz bait?
Matt! Have you fished the megabass levante 711lv? Good allround swimbaitrod?
Could I use these rods to for umbrella rigs
What lb line you throwing? Are u using leader?
I Matt we love your videos ! Question – I’m getting into smaller swim baits like S Wavers and Mag Drafts ect. and just purchased a G Loomis Edge series 7’3 H rod which is according to their website an all around rod for swim baits, glides, jigs,a rigs, ect. I’d like to know what reel would be good on this rod to cover multiple things listed ? I know you guys get hammered with questions so hopefully you can respond ! Thanks for doing these videos 👍
I’m trying to figure out what length and size Fury to buy? I have a few mag drafts and the smallest Huddleston and Ive never tried either. Just now getting into swim baits
What was the length and action of your g loomis 966 brotha
Matt or Tim, question for you because I cant find info anywhere! But what size hook do you recommend for the 6" Bull Gill swimbait by Mike Bucca? Mine came with #2 KVD Triple Grip hooks, and they look way too small, I put #1 KVD Triple Grip Hooks on the Bull Gill but they still look too small, I tried Owner ST-56 #1 hooks and they look ok, but maybe too long and too heavy a wire.. Idk what to use, I was thinking maybe 1/0 Gammy ewg short shank hooks next..
can you guys test out the Leviathan Rods. they seem nice but they are a little expensive for testing the waters.
Love the Gambler, they're my go to trailer for spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and swim jigs. Caught tons of big largies night fishing with a spinnerbait with a gambler.
Hi I am 12 I am know the guy that owns on rat I got sponsored by them so cool so see them on YouTube because they are just a small company in Southern California
Hey matt i really appreciate you guys taking the time to make these videos sharing your your knowledge so when I go to the link that y’all posted for the G Loomis rod I noticed there’s several different types of rods that you can select could you possibly tell me what the length and power of the one your using?
Excellent video! I started with a old Okuma guide select, that lasted about 15mins-threw out my shoulder-> I think Loomis has the lightest swimbait rods on the market-my shoulder feels a lot better-lol
Love my zman minnowz, diesel, slim swimz and mag swimz..can get more colors for more scenarios instead of going through soft plastic after soft plastic. Still looking for a "budget" rod to throw my 1 1/2 mag swimz rigs for pike and musky though I'm thinking bass x 7'11" mod fast heavy
What color Burrito should I throw If I'm fishing in murky water. Im from the south and most of my water I fish is stained. Thank you.
Which of these swim baits do you most recommend for bed fishing?
You guys are awesome as always. What about a Curado 300k for a swimbait reel?
Just ordered a MB tequila baccarac with intentions of using it primarily to throw mag drafts, bacca burritos and other soft swimabits, along with an A rig. I had intentions of pairing it with a bantam mgl but wondering if the line capacity would be too big of an issue? I primarily fish from a kayak so not usually making extremely long cast
Matt what is your opinion about Dobyns Champion XP SWIMMBAIT 8’’ HAEAVY? For 6-8 oz. baits?
Y'all are BOSS. I really presh this channel
Not seeing the Largo and Gambler linked. Or am I missing it?
Matt, what’s your opinion about the Huddleston Deluxe Hudd Rod 8' Extra Heavy?
Matt, is it ok to throw my beitsanity glide 5 oz on a 1-4 oz rod? Will it affect the way i cast it?
Try and get your hands on a lanciotti psycho gill. i’ve been trying for two almost three years to get my hands on one. custom made by a gentleman by the name of joey lanciotti. One of the most legendary wake baits out there.
Ive already got my rod but i’m struggling to pick a reel. Im stuck between the tatula 300 and the tranx 300 and i dont know which one to get.
Is there another option for swim bait reel if the Cardiff 300 is not available?
