  1. I live about 3 1/2 hours from Ticonderoga. You want to make Champlain into a Largemouth tournament launch there. I don’t think I ever weighed in a Smallmouth in a Ti tournament and I’ve fished a couple events a year there since 1985. Crown Point south it’s a totally different lake. I would like to see BASS to go into New England and fish into the fall.

  2. I'm actually looking forward to see some tournaments not so centered around the spawn.some prespawn and post spawn tournaments hopefully with some different techniques beside scoping and bed fishing

  3. Would love to see them change the rules for Champlain to a 5 fish limit but you can only weigh a max of 3 of one species.(3 sm and 2 lg or 3 lg and 2sm). Would make for a really interesting tournament

  4. Other than the Texas / Florida time of year switch, this is an incredibly cookie cutter schedule. I still prefer bass, but MLF is doing a far better job scheduling (and live coverage) than bass right now.

Totally like your idea of a “west coast” tour that isn’t quite so far. Maybe do Lake Powell / and then Havasu to end the season. Just some variety would be nice.

  5. The Harris Chain right now is not as good as it could be but that could change before April. FWC has sprayed the grass in Big and Little Lake Harris and it is seriously barren right now. The rest of Chain is going to be a question mark. But, the FWC sprays the Hydrilla and Milfoil regularly so shell beds WILL PLAY, The Kissimmee Grass will always be there.

  6. Wheeler and Santee are the only tournaments I’m really looking forward to. BASS is my favorite circuit. But MLF has a much more interesting schedule next year.

  7. I live 30 minutes from Smith and June will be feast or famen, if you find the herring you'll bust them up, if you find the right shallow brush big largemouth will play, but but there will be multiple people weighing in with less than 4 fish

  8. Pretty solid schedule. I'm sure there's a lot of logistical things to deal with. A western swing would be sweet. Glad they only did 2 northern and moved St. Lawrence up the river. Sounds like they're at least listening to some of the FFS complaints.

  9. I had Bass comment to me that the derbs next year are not spawning focused…..The first 5 lakes you will find fish spawning from January-May 😂😂. We seen Luke Palmer use FFS on bedding fish at Sante Cooper last year and Cobb almost win AOY without using FFS but they claimed differently. Pretty sad they can't admit the truth on things. And trust me, I'm a BASS fan over MLF through and through. But even last year at the lakes where FFS shouldn't have dominated as much as it did, they were in top 10 or the winning pattern. Sight fishing is for fun and FFS is for the money. Combine them both, we could see record numbers years to come to be broken year after year until the new advancement comes.
