In this video I am at Lake Lanier in late October fishing for bass in some tough conditions. The fall transition is in full swing and the up and down temperatures have the fishing slow. In these conditions I throw a Texas rigged worm and have great success. Follow along and see how I go about figuring these fish out. Thanks for watching! Valparaiso Indiana. That sunrise!!
Hey Dana, Standford Baits Twin Mini trailer is an replica of the SwampPro lure you were using, Tacklewarehouse has one on there website
Good morning Dana, enjoyed the vid, that Texas rig did the job, along with that SwampPro lure, good deal
What’s the purpose of the bead?
I enjoy your videos. I haven't fished Lanier since I was 9 years old. 34 years.
I'm hoping to come up there this weekend
or the next! From Stockbridge.
Am from Dahlonega Georgia
My favorite worm is green pumpkin, trick worm
Went out yesterday and on your example, threw a weightless fluke & swivel. First cast at a shoal marker, I caught one pushing 3 lbs. But that was it for 2 hrs. Threw into an empty dock with a shaky head and must have hit her in the head with the lure, as I immediately felt the weight. Two minutes later, I boated a 4 lb. spot. Nothing else landed, no pattern figured out. I never threw a T-rig. One in the sun and one in the shade.
I love a hit on the fall, it lets me know I have just the right fall rate. Watching from Washington DC!
Great video. Mind me asking where you are on lake? Upper? Middle? Water looks dingy. Turnover?
Watching from Woodstock, GA.
Great job catching them on the t-rig worm..some quality spots too! I went out on Lanier this morning and caught 2 on topwater, I was surprised because the topwater bite hasn’t been great for me lately…I tried a worm later in the morning but didn’t get anything..still trying to figure out Lanier since I only began fishing it this August.
Always look forward to your videos on Thursday and Sunday!
A good day today!Got some nice ones.
Using different baits paid off! You caught some quality fish! From Nebraska watching faithfully
From McDonough, Ga but always like coming up there when I have a free day. Watching your videos makes me miss being on that lake.
You caught some good ones. The old t rig came through again👍🏻. Hartwell is turning over right now. The entire creek was the color of tea. I caught one fish this morning lol
