  1. I fish here in SoCal, specifically Riverside, and the green pumpkin works amazing 🤙 encouraged me to bass fish. I tried to bass fish with the ned rig, wacky, dropshot, and gave up. But one day EPF said, gary yamamoto 5” green pumpkin never lets him down, so i bought some and practiced every detail observed on the video. Caught 5 in an hour in a very heavily pressured lake.

  2. You know I have a idea of how you might be able to get the video to show your line as the fish carries the worm off. I'm sure you know we can't see that process of the catch, You say you to give it to second but we can tell when it is happening . let me give the same thought.

  3. I have never had success with with a senko or other worms. After watching you i know that i was fishing it wrong. Will defnitely try your advice. Nearly summer here in South Africa. Cannot wait for the spawn.

  4. So much for an easy release hook wasn't enough let's wing him out there lol old school 😂 man got a love em. Definitely my favorite fisherman helicopter lure man

  5. Can you give me this location !!! Bass aren't that big where I am.

  6. Hi Roland

Do you have an opinion on soft plastics and their affect on the environment? I know you sometimes pour your own. Would love it if you could share your thoughts on biodegradable soft plastics and your approach when making your own.

    Thank you

  7. Ive watched and learned from Roland since i was 10 years old. Lasrnight i founf this channel and man i am so happy. This man single handed got me fully interested in bass fishing and even though i was only 10 years old i was able to understand and use the techniques and advice he gave us veiwers. Im happy to say my neice who is only 7 years old is sitting beside me as i type this just like i did when i was her age. She just got her first bass rod and reel 3 days ago for her 7th birthday and wants to learn for the legend himself. Thank you Roland for what you have done for me, my neice, and the bass fishing community as a hole.

  8. My time in life to pick up and move to FL – where you just caught bass that would equal or beat my lifetime best here – well, unless I retire to FL, that's over for me…but man, its sure fun to watch you catch em up like that! Son! Lol.

I've had a heck if a year with a swimbait…unlike anything I've ever seen… but I also need to get back to the basics. A plastic worm and a hook and split shot started me off decades ago. With many, many dollars spent on tackle I probably could have caught more on worms if I'd just fish slowly like I started out!

  9. Hello Mr. MARTIN, love your shows, I feel like a pro now and I haven't even been fishing yet. Thanks for all those tips, we are amazed every time we see them. Thank you and stay safe!

  10. Ok, I know this vid is a year old but I just found it. Roland you are such a class act. Thank you for your service as well! When every other lure I have fails me I always turn to my beloved 5" Senko worm in green pumpkin and it catches fish every time! I have gotten to the point where more often than not I just start with the Senko and bipass the rest of my lures. I want one of those hats too! And lastly, I laughed every single time you launched those bass back into the pond! Lol!! All I could think is, "I'll bet that fish never dreamed one day he would be flying." Thanks for this great video Roland! Just a true class act! God bless you and your family!
