  2. Just found your channel on YouTube. Iโ€™m a long time bass fisherman and fishing guide in Florida and looking to get into throwing more Swimbaits. I use mostly soft Swimbaits like the Huddleston 64, baca burrito and Coalition Gill Swimbaits ect. I also have some glide baits and Swimbaits but nothing over 4oz. What rod would you recommend for soft Swimbaits and can also throw my small glides? Iโ€™m in Florida and need a rod stiff enough to set a jig hook Swimbait. Is this rod you are using the Irod Kaimana Coastal or the Kaimana Swimbait rod? Iโ€™m currently using a Shimano Expride B 7โ€™6โ€ XHeavy and guides are a little small for connection knot. I appreciate any help you can provide. I just subscribed to your channel

  3. hardest thing for me to learn when I started fishing pretty serious (once I had a job to afford to fish seriously) was that I could only cast one bait at the time. swimbait fishing is no different than that. I easily spent $10,000 in less than a year learning to fish swimbaits. There was no reason to get to that point. $700 is the most anyone should spend upfront.

  4. How does the 794 handle that deps 250? I throw everything up to 3oz baits on mine but have not tried anything that big yet. I really like throwing a Toxic Wake-N-Crank and have landed a couple nice ones. Also have a 764 and love throwing a chatter on that! Kaimanaโ€™s are great rods!

  5. now if I could only get my hands on a couple of those baits. they usually sell out asap. lol.

but this was a super good video with tons of info. I jumped in head first throwing citizens. itโ€™s what I caught my first real swimbait fish on. iโ€™ve got my soft bait game dialed. this year iโ€™m moving on to glide baits. I picked up 3 of them, all under $30-$40. and last year I caught a couple on the arashi glide, but I fucked up and didnโ€™t set the hook right, and the vmcs that come on it are dull as fuck.

another good beginner rod is either the curado xh or the dobyns fury 8โ€™ heavy or the 7โ€™9mh. specifically made for swimbaits.

  6. Best video Iv seen in 2021 .. Nothing but facts ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Hopefully one day Iโ€™ll run into you and him at Alondra .. Keep up the good videos ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ
