I remember, (I am now 70), on Brighton Pier, fish were never returned. Even small wrasse would be slapped to the ground and kicked into the sea. I hated it.
I was always happy to catch and cook a flounder!

Make your content even better – A beautiful bass like that from the beach needs a bit more TLC – wash your bass before putting it in front of the camera. Better get yourself a taller tri-pod too, would have loved to see the bite and you bringing it in.
