  1. Thank You @hawgin365. Absolutely agree. Think the Spot has grown enough that we are big boys now and don't have to go up on stage a show out prizes. If the sport is going to survive , IT HAS TO BE Catch weigh release. The best thing that happened to bass fishing. Would be interested in who gets watched more B.A.S.S or MLF. I will take MLF every day. Wish Zaldain and Seth Feider were in MLF to be honest. The best fisherman rght now Jacob Wheeler is a huge reason for their success. Along with Alton Jones jr. Dustin Connell Mark Daniel's jr Matt Becker Ott Defoe. To me I would put anyone of them up against ANYONE. Don't get me wrong I still the the Older Hammers still fishing. Greg Hackney Jason Christie ( not that old ) Gerald Swindle. Seth Feider. I don't see MLF as a triple A league I really dont. Bass has gotten to intermingled with what Anglers can say or Do. Canceled my Script a few years ago. Don't feel like I have missed ANYTHING. TYLER keep up the Awesome vids and work you do. It shows.

  2. I was a BASS Life member, and while i don't always agree with Blaukaut, i joined him in cancelling my life membership. It's not Ray Scott's organization any longer, its just about sponsorship money.

  3. Their live coverage SUCKS.. the overall quality of production is terrible and just looks so outdated. It really hasn’t changed much at all since the late 2000’s. Maybe instead of banning the guys’ livestreams, they should take a look at their own production and make improvements.

  4. I am a Life member of Bassmasters as well. The problem I have with Bassmasters is they turned it into an elite group only, they took away from your regular angular and made it too expensive for your average Bass fisherman to fish.

  5. I agree with one of the other comments. That way , too many commercials , it makes it difficult to watch the program. Same thing happens when you click on a website that you want to see a product on your phone and you're inundated with fifteen pop ups before you can actually clear the screen to see the product.
Again, like another comment about ad revenue.I understand that , but there's a point where you I think get diminishing returns because you overwhelm the viewer with commercials and popups and whatever else and very little content , whatever it might be.
And if it's no fun to watch , you're not gonna have people watch it , no matter what.
I didn't recall every Saturday.I would record all the fishing shows on my v.C r while I was out fishing. Then I'dnCome home and for the next few hours, watch all the fishing shows on the v.C r video.
Life was so much simpler back them. And like you said , we all wanna learn how to potentially fish better by watching the experts.
But if it gets annoying in too difficult , so much for the experts is so much for the viewers and so goes the demise of the programming.
InWill concede that I don't watch bass master anymore

  6. Tyler you nailed it exactly on the head. Basmasster is making a lot of bad decisions these days. I don't watch near as much of it as i used to. They seem to be wanting to put some kind of lock down on the growth of the sport and i just don't understand it. I somehow feel they are a sinking ship. I much more enjoy watching the BPT or NPFL I think it is because in my subconscious mind I am just not happy with a lot of what bassmaster is doing and how they are treating their anglers sucks.

  7. Im currently trying to find a way to go live in kayak tournaments. I fish the classic this year and would love to share the experience play by play on the water but i also see a down side to it when it comes to competitors watching what your doing and stealing your juice in the moment but in general i would love to see it. Great video fam!!

  8. It really follows most sports, I was big into competitive archery for years. People who hunt far out number people who shoot competitively. Even though I shot tournaments I never once watched live archery content 🤷‍♂️

  9. I like watching the anglers I follow. I don't watch BASS because, of commercials, or they're on a boat of angler I don't want to watch. It isnt great watching FFS, but being able to watch who you want when you want is great.

  10. We don't need live stream from the idiot husband and wife. Also who cares about all these fishing channels everyone of you patches miss the complete point of your true job and that includes the manufacturers.
The reason they don't want it live streamed because they got caught chewing a father son out live. Cerebral tackle who I don't like but he did expose the Zaldains.
You all speak of knowledge and teaching is overrated because it is not taught correctly period. In order to be taught correctly it has to be one on one and rules don't allow that or the Pro's are to caught up in the fishing they miss the point completely. I know the point and it is totally lost. I'll spill the juice but everyone can try guessing or may know.
No entry fee means BASS controls the content and I agree. Anglers can post it after the tournament is just as good. It protects BASS Masters intergrity 100% and that's the way it should be. I don't want to see poor sportsmanship live or other stupidity. Here is a nugget there are alot of guys without money or chance that can actually out fish alot of these hand picked Elites, Hell even I layed the wood to a few in the day from Edwin Evers, Doug Garrett, Scott Suggs, and Scott Rook to name a few. A squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
People you absolutely must have a skill set, then you must understand how to apply your skillset, the 300 days a year on the water that's called time and last bit not least lots and lots of money.

  11. Great video – 100% correct. I am not sure what some of these leagues are doing. Serve ALL your consumers. 1/2 like FFS, 1/2 do not. But serve all the people – it is just good business. I live on lake as a retiree – fish closely with about 15 retirees that fish multiple times a week – no one tourney fishes. Every day we ask each other how many did you catch, what bait, and what was biggest one. No one uses their live well. All use FFS including the old guy with a “John boat”. BTW these guys also spend $1000 on bait and fishing stuff

  12. I did some tournament fishing back in the 70s, 80s and 90s and during that time I enjoyed watching Bassmaster's on TV when I had the chance. There were some outstanding pro fishermen in those days. The use of FFS in tournaments has taken away any desire I might otherwise have to watch any tournament fishing on TV nowadays. So any call Bassmaster's makes regarding live stream makes no difference to me.

  13. They are losing so many potential new followers of the sport by not allowing the pros to livestream. I for one would much rather watch the individual angler’s livestreams on youtube, as opposed to the broader show that B.A.S.S releases.

  14. You will not learn anything from watching bass masters. All it is, is a bunch of guys staring at livescope. There is no more bass fishing techniques. If you want to learn to bass fish, watch individual guys on YouTube that actually tell techniques and tips.bassmaster is a joke.

  15. I agree. I would liken it to the MLB or NBA, I used to be able to watch most games on TV and therefore follow those teams. Now I would have to buy an extra package to see more than an occasional national TV game. The result is I just don't care. Unless you are already a big fan, you will never become a fan.
