Bass fishing with wacky rigs and Texas rigs can both produce bass from the bank. Plastic worms and swimbaits are a couple of productive soft plastics. The worms work well on both Texas Rigs and Wacky Rigs. The plastic swimbait works better on a Texas Rig, but I have heard of people wacky rigging them as well. Today I catch three bass, one on each rig. The first bass is caught on a wacky rigged worm. The second and third are caught on Texas Rigs. Try these rigs if you are bank fishing for bass, you just might catch a few in an hour, like me. #fishing #bass

Great video. That release was awesome 👌
Learning every time I watch you!
Thinking hard about trying a wacky rig.
Unsure if I’ve seen this video to the end so I’ve watched it once again just to be sure.
Better safe than sorry. KIR
When fishing that Yum Dinger weightless can you feel the movement of the worm while you shake the rod tip
I am new to using soft plastics, thanks for the info! I definitely need to work on my technique. Another great video, Alex!!
Great action in the evening before dark.
I never have tried the wacky rig. I plan to.
I need to try this swim bait texas rig technique!
Can the fish not read the no swimming sign?
Hi Alex! im back after my months long hiatus from YouTube. work has been crazy busy which has been a good thing. but up here in Illinois the weather has been on and off and nothing is going well. between working longer and the weather being off I haven't been able to fish too much. sort of depressing actually. but im hoping things will turn around soon on all ends. and I will gladly be returning to your videos 🙂
Man that reel looks really smooth for a cheapo!
Yum Dingers great lure
This is awesome! Im very new to bass fishing and my first try was a 5 inch worm. I was having problems setting the hook with a Texas rig. Got tons of bites just couldn’t seem to set the hook and reel it in. Anything I can change?
Some many ways to use the stick bait. Great video as always. KiR!!!
Nice taking your time really paid off. I love evening fishing.
Another great video, when the bite is tough, a Wacky Rig always comes through for me. It was the first rig I ever learned to fish and its remained essential in the late summer early winter times.
Catching them on a regular basis that is cool
wacky rig is my favorite and go to rig.
Good stuff Alex. Nice fish good to see them biting
I finally tried the wacky rig for longer than 10 minutes this week. 5 good sized bass…1 over 3lbs. Yup like you say. It works. KIR y’all!
Nice bass Alex!
Great video, Great fishing 👍
Good catches! Thanks for sharing😀
Some nice ones on this night. I like fish number 2 gave a goodbye jump. That last fish was what we call… "Classic Hookset" Fish on
Haven't tied a wacky rig yet this year, been trying the drop shot. Everyone claims it's a technique one should know but so far it hasn't caught a fish. It's too hard to work out in place without pulling it up the bank, I think it's a vertical presentation to be worked from a boat not the bank.
Healthy chunky bass in that lake!!!
Love late afternoon fishing. Quiet on the pond and can watch lights come on in the distance. 🎣🚣♀️🤠👵
