New to fishing? No insult implied or suggest but just that panic reminds me of new fisherman. 9 times out of 10 if a fish get's off it would have gotten off regardless of what you did so no reason to worry about it. I lost (would I would consider to be) my new personal best last year about 1 foot from the bank off in some thick grass. I would be lying if I didn't say I chucked my rod to the side and jumped in after it lol.
Never found it (thick grass mixed with that half decomposing leaf/mud mix. About 10 mins later I seen a splash in there and he took off lol. I enjoyed the video 🙂
