in todays video I tackle one of the best bass fisheries in the state of Minnesota, that being gull lake near Brainerd Minnesota. Now obviously its one of the best lakes as the state high school championship just so happened to be held the morning before I went fishing out there.
The big technique that worked well for me to get bigger bites was throwing a grass jig near weedlines with hard bottom. Nothing too crazy or different here, but very effective and lots of fun. It seemed the weeds that ended in the 14-16 feet were more productive then those that went out to 18-20 feet. Not sure if this was just a random observation or more to it but was for sure something I looked for.
As the season comes to an end this fall let me know what content you would like to see this winter, (reviews, ice fishing, etc.), and I will do my best to get out and make some for you. Thanks for watching, and I will catch you next time!!
Sweet! Looks like a fun day!
