It’s been a long times since my son Jesse and I have been able to fish together but he’s home to attend Karen’s Mom’s Celebration of life and hang with the family and some of his buddies for a week and he didn’t want to come home and not go fishing so we are out braving the heat and Canadian Wildfire smoke to spend some time on the water together. Of course you know I am going to take him to my favorite pond where we should be able to get on some fish but fishing is fishing and the bite was incredibly tough. We did manage not to get skunked but for me the most important part was just getting back out and spending some quality time on the water together.
Thanks for coming along……. Peace

This is so awesome. Enjoy your visit with your son! 😊
As you said, no skunk which is always good. The quality time on the water was the ultimate goal and you succeeded 👍
So happy for you that you got to spend the day with your son. What a blessing. Congrats on getting the skunk off, too, but it still would have been a great day.
Great day fishing with your son!😎👍
looks like family fun
The quality time made it all worth it, there aren't many things that can build bonds as well as fishing.
Don, great to see you out there with your son. Glad to see you each bring one in even if the bite was slow. Great episode
How fun!
Awesome!
Beautiful place and no skunk fishing for you guys. Its great to see you both out there enjoying time together. Bonding. ❤
Enjoyed yourself way it should be every day of a person lives
And that’s what it’s all about! There was an excitement in your voice that can only come from the joy you were feeling being out there with your son! I love it! Thanks for sharing brother, I enjoyed watching! ❤

Awwwww!!!! I absolutely love how happy you were on that first catch Jesse had; total and complete joy. I’ve never heard that saying before; “get the skunk off the boat”…what does it mean? Have a great time with Jesse and say hello to Karen & Bodhi for us!!! – Theresa
