Join me for the first fishing trip of the year as we head to Flint Creek Lake, also known as Lake Swepco, for some exciting kayak fishing. This power station lake, located in Arkansas, promises a unique winter fishing experience. We’re targeting bass fishing in these cool conditions, hoping to land our first fish of the year in this fishing video.

I pulled 106.25 out of a power plant lake. The 5 included a 17” fish lol
Thanks for showing this honey hole buddy.

Never seen the parking lot that empty, lol!
I have such a hard time getting motivated to fish in the cold, lol. I may need to find a power plant lake as well.
No more kbn podcast?
The lake has gone more like the surrounding lakes than it used to be. Mostly due to lower water temps. They do more demand generating now so the plant doesn’t run as much as it used to. The water temps are in the 60s and 70s more often. I know that is 20 degrees warmer than surrounding lakes but those lakes don’t have Florida strain bass either. Also, the Shad population is down quite a bit. It is still a great place to fish.
I enjoy fishing there i dont get to very often though.
Nice to see my first greenback of 2026! Keep it up broski <3
