Bass Fishing a FLOODED Public Pond – Here’s How I Caught Them

#bassfishing #realfishing #outdoors
Bass fishing doesn’t always go as planned—and this was one of the toughest days I’ve ever had at this public pond. The water was extremely high, flooded, muddy, and heavily pressured, making every single bite count.

In this video, I break down how slowing everything down was the key to getting bites when conditions were absolutely brutal. The pond was overflowing, visibility was terrible, and bass were extremely finicky—but by fishing the grass line, matching the chatterbait blade, skirt, and trailer, and switching to a Pit Boss, I was able to grind out a couple of quality bites.

This is real bank fishing—no perfect conditions, no easy fish. Just problem-solving, patience, and mindset. If you fish public ponds, deal with muddy or flooded water, or struggle to get bites during tough days, this video will help you understand how bass position and why slowing down catches more fish.

  1. You, Sir, are a legend! Thanks for going out and dealing with that kind of bs to make videos! When it's below freezing, 20mph wind and flooded around here, it makes it better to see that someone is out there getting it done!
