I’ve been waiting to fish these Spro Rats since I first laid eyes on them at the 2015 ICAST. They came out with two smaller sizes, the 30 and the 40. I put them to the test this week and they did not disappoint. We caught over 20 largemouth bass with them, and its December! This is a bait that I will have tied on all year long, it’s fun, and it catches fish!

I bought one and have only used it as a top water. I didn't even know it would dive under alittle. I guess I'm not reeling it in fast enough. I'll have to give this a shot. I've caught ALOT of bass and Northern Pike with my SPRO Rat!! The most lifelike action I've even seen.

I just bought one yesterday used it for about 30 mins.. got one bite.. Anyway, I was thinking of maybe shaving the lip down a lil to let it continue that wobble but stay on top. I acutually tried to make a rat a couple months ago… still havent perfected it… yet. lol.
Hey Bama… at the 1:00 mark, I noticed that the back treble is opened up a bit… is that an intentional thing or just from getting worked hard that day? It almost looks intentional since the two parts I can see are bent about the same amount… ?

This video inspired me to get a rat. I went and got one Monday night, and the next day I took my kayak out and caught my PB (a 4.5lber) 45 minutes into fishing ,then 15 minutes after that I broke my newest personal best and caught a 5.15 these things are awesome!! Also caught around 10 fish between the 1-2pound range using the nasty shad in a 30 size. so they flat out catch fish no matter the size!
