I love those belly weighted hooks with the twist locks. I fish in current alot so they help with keeping the lure where you want it. I dont have any proof(yet😂) but i also think you catch more fish on a soft plastic without them getting torn up. Adjusting the belly weight for the fall rate your looking for is also a major player in getting more bites. Ponds are frozen in my area also😢. Ive got a question thats off topic… do you ever swap out the snap on a temu chatterbait? I got some recently that have huge snaps and wanted to experiment with different sizes.
