barrel swivel or no with inline spinners? i dont usually use one but i have seen others fish their spinners with swivels

I like making my own custom spinners also . Also cold here in NJ and the fish are reluctant to bite.
i fish every spot you were at and its been dead for a while. a lot of pressure on the second stop. managed to get a 13 inch small mouth bass not to far from there last week. i was using a 4in white fluke style rubber no weight on a weedless hook. you can only throw it about 30 feet with worn 10lb braid. but let it slow sink and rip it back to the top and repeat. thats the only way ive caught anything when its this cold…..there's some monsters in my neck of the woods if you get off the beaten trail. i got a cheap 5 piece rod and its a game changer. no more getting stuck in the briars and brush with a 7'6 lol… i plan on making my own channel this year focusing on targeting fluke on the kayak. good luck out there.

I try to fish when I go to Saranac Lake to see my parents, but my lake gear is lacking ever since I’ve been fishing the beaches.
Also, you going to do an ice fishing video?? Pretty icy up there now, could be cool. I was up for Thanksgiving and saw some shacks on Lake Colby already.
