Price drop to $10 in July 2025. Lake is closed 2nd Tuesday of the month. Open for fishing from sun up to sundown; No night fishing!
Concession stand is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Iron ranger payments are only cash or check; electronic payment device in front of concessionaire is inoperable.
Toughest lake in the County. 2 months after this video was created and El Capitan launch ramp is closed. Otay Lake launch ramp is one foot above closing level; boat launch wait time is up to 2.5 hrs!
Most city-managed lakes will begin winter hours in October so check before making a long drive for nothing.

You should not eat the fish here they have three different types of pairasites so does Otay and San V.
