This is a more laid back video using a supermarket lure fishing set from Lidl to try and catch good size river fish. Fishing the stream in the woods it was overgrown and tricky, but the setup and lures managed to put some good fish to the bank!

Good tackle just makes life more enjoyable and easier and smoother.

Trouble with today is your spoilt a lot of rods back in the 70's were stiff and unresponsive but we still cauht fish

I have caught so many big fish on cheap gear. Itโs the expertise in the fisherman that counts, know you equipment & address accordingly. The fish donโt look out of the water & say โIโm not being caught on thatโ the German 50lb in warmwell got caught by a 7 year old on a holiday rod with a piece of sweet corn, true, just ask Kevin Nash, thatโs the one he couldnโt catch & he witnessed the 7 year old girl catch it next to himโฆ.. it haunts him still to this day.. true & he does not like talking about it.

Just another reminder that most gear is designed to catch fishermen rather than fish. The fish aren't nearly as choosy.
Problem I see is that most people that will buy a set like that do not have your Watercraft, and thereby be inspired by this video, but catch bugger all and give up.
