Just for shyts and giggles, try a small circle hook or octopus hook. That shyt sets it's self. I'm pulling channel cats, off a dead stick, 20inchs, with the hook through the mouth and damn near poking it's eye out. Honestly, you might want to switch back to worm hooks because of the trouble getting them unhooked…..and if you get an offset one…..
