4100 fishermen have signed up.
Pin oaks push off their leaves in the spring. Horrible trees.
I noticed they started flowing water out the damn, and sorry about today's results
I'm no tree guy but if the leaves are small & thin & tannish colored & very plentiful I guess they are maple. They get almost like a starter or temporary leaves in early spring then shed them & then later spring they get their familiar 5 point leaves.Not sure all maple types do but I got 2 in my backyard that do that.

Jim it is mainly oaks that hold onto their dead leaves until the new buds push them off. Bring in a leaf and show us what it looks like. Good luck on day 2.
Jeez, a 20 lb bag of fish and a snazzy new camper door. What more could a guy want?…a 30lb bag , maybe? Good luck out there on day #2, …and, yeah, I have those trees here in Ontario, too.

Yes you were 44th at Lake Fork after day one too.
If I start loosing fish I take pliers and in the bend of the hook I bend the point down just a little, works on about every type of hook.

well, 20 pounds won't cut it; it's only going to get better; you'll need 25 to get a check or 30-plus to make the cut.
