  1. I’m with you Randy. You give us candid, honest knowledge and experience on a plethora of topics. It’s clear you have a sincere heart for teaching. Thank you for all the work you put in for us. When you recommend a product, I believe you have tested it and sincerely think it’s the best. Like the Whip Snake rod, , the Megabass 110 jerk bait, and many others. I appreciate that you don’t just push products-you have a good balance of vide with no products and these that include sponsored products you believe in. Your titles do pique interest and are generally relevant to the content. Please keep ‘em coming!

  2. There is a big difference between an attention-grabbing title, and a Clickbait title. Your titles tend to grab attention, but relate to the actual substance of your videos.

A Clickbait title is an attention-grabbing title that typically doesn’t have anything to do with the actual substance of the video i.e., it is a fraudulent title intended to misrepresent the contents of the video and dupe people into watching it.

Your video titles are not Clickbait. You have quality content that matches the titles, the way a fishing video should be

I understand how the YouTube income stream works, and do not beget you the right to make a profit through product referrals, especially because I think you have enough integrity, not to recommend a product you do not actually believe is a decent product.

However, one thing I do see on your channel that I find disappointing is the promotion of grossly expensive lures, usually Megabass lures. I am utterly amazed that some of these Japanese lures can sell for $20, $30, $50 or $100 which is absolutely ridiculous for a bass-sized lure. I make a decent living, probably better than that of your average viewer and I really cannot justify spending $10 or more on a lure. This is especially true because the several $12 lures I have purchased always seem to end up quickly snagged on the bottom of a river, not having caught a single fish. Of course I also don’t understand how some of these young guys who seem to have rather basic jobs can afford to drive a $60,000 pick up truck and pull a $45,000 bass boat. I’m guessing they keep bankruptcy lawyers in business.

  3. There are bigger reasons to dislike YouTube than clickbait from Bass Tubers. The US has officially recognized GENOCIDE being committed by the government of CHYEEENAHHH. BUT YouTube doesn't censor their propaganda denying the genocide. It's long term career training. With no visitors or family weekends. Or as I like to call them A PERMANENT REEDUCATION VACATION all inclusive extended stay NO NEED TO PACK ANYTHING!

  4. I can tell you that Bridgford jerky is in my Kayak every derby. Turns out it's really good, but I would have never tried it if not for you and Stefan. Give and take is the deal. Also, these videos are free to us, and wisdom is hard earned and valuable.

  5. I don't mind products being pitched. Some I will try, and some I might not. I don't need click bait to interest me, I need substance.

I'll forgive click bait titles if they are backed up with something, but once you've wasted my time a couple times with bait and nothing else, I stop watching. I don't watch many fishing channels because I've been fishing my whole life and it takes quality to impress me. So if I'm watching, you're doing something right.

  6. I have no problem at all with a Bass YouTuber promoting products. They save me a ton of time and money by sharing their knowledge. I sincerely appreciate all your time and efforts to make us a better fisherman.

  7. A " clickbait" title is no different than an attention-getting headline in a newspaper or online news site. You gotta get people to read the story. Carry on Randy.

  8. I enjoy some of this and learn from some. I subscribed because I remember you back in CPA and know your the real deal. I am glad to give the small monthly fee because in reality nothing is free. You, Jonny, Matt and Jimmy and I dont have time for all of it. Hope you all do well. Keep it up guys.

  9. Most tubers know that no matter what, there are always going to be negative comment, so they just disregard them, and keep doing what they do. Here lately, half of your videos are about comments you got from the previous video, that rubbed your a$* the wrong way. BTW … did you see where Jamie Bruce in the Open at LOZ, just shut off his FFS, grabbed his flipping stick, and put 19 pounds in the boat?

  10. Thank you Randy for your sincere insight. Thank you for your videos. Love em. I don't care for clickbait titles. Myself, I definitely would prefer the right to the point, no guessing type thumbnail. The mystery only lies in where are the fish and what do I throw at em. Gimme a technique or a retrieve tip.
No need for clickbait titles. An insult to our intelligence quite frankly

  11. I'm thankful for all you share and that you get paid. I hope you make BIG $$$ for it.
If they want to fight the title thing they can watch all the boring titles only and change YouTube 😊

  12. There's one channel that always uses click bait title about fishing and I always get upset once I click to watch and I end video right away all the time..starts with M.

  13. With some of the fishing youtube channels I watch they follow through with what's the title. Don't mind sponsorship or selling merch, cause it's fair to make more money with a video.

  14. In my view you're doing it right. I get irritated when i click on a video and the item or topic that was on the cover was no where to be found. I give those videos a thumbs down. And dont ever watch any of their future videos.

  15. Thank you for all of your knowledge that you are willing to share with anyone who wants to watch your videos and learn more about catching fish, lures to use under certain conditions and everything else you are helping us learn. I certainly appreciate it Randy!

  16. As long as the click bait title relates to the video I'm cool with it. Once folks have a title graphic on their video thumbnail, and then have no content related to that topic, an automatic "don't follow" and tell folks don't waste their on on that channel.
