The Lipless Crankbait is known as a great bait to catch numbers of bass but in the Spring its an amazing way to catch GIANT bass as well! Here on Clearlake the lipless crankbait catches a ton of big bass every year.

By combining the right rod and reel with the right lipless crank Tim was able to subdue this fish of a lifetime despite an epic battle!

  1. I sometimes wonder if big bass just know the drill once they’ve been caught. I took a 7 pounder today and once I got her out of the water, she just sort of sat there…like she was just waiting to go back. The little ones freak out so much more than the bigger ones.

  2. Okay, that dramatic sequence pulling that hog out of the live well gave me the creeps like a scene from Alien or Species or some such.
Other than that, freakin awesome, congrats!
